Gerade die Tomate hebt sich durch ihre riesige Sortenvielfalt aus der Gem\u00fcsewelt hervor. Zudem soll es weltweit rund 10.000 verschiedene Sorten geben. Angebaut wird davon jedoch nur ein Bruchteil. Wobei ihre Gr\u00f6\u00dfe, Form und Farbe von Sorte zu Sorte variiert. Zu den wichtigsten Exportl\u00e4nder f\u00fcr Tomaten z\u00e4hlen unter anderem die Niederlanden und Spanien.<\/p>\n<p>Unsere Foodscouts sind daher stets auf der Suche nach dem Besonderen. So war unser Genussentdecker <a href=\"https:\/\/keuthmann.net\/?team=gunnar-worfel\">Gunnar<\/a> auch in diesem Jahr auf der Fruit Attraction in Madrid unterwegs. Die Fruit Attraction ist eine der f\u00fchrenden Messen im Lebensmittelsektor. Die Peter Keuthmann GmbH nutzt sie sowohl als Plattform zur Kommunikation mit Produzenten und Lieferanten, als auch als M\u00f6glichkeit neue Produkte zu entdecken.<\/p>\n<p>Ins Auge fiel uns in diesem Jahr ganz besonders die Tomatenvielfalt des, in Motril ans\u00e4ssigen, Produzenten Horticola Guadalfeo. Der Anbauer aus S\u00fcdspanien pr\u00e4sentierte einen Querschnitt seiner Produktpalette. Seit einigen Wochen erreichen die ersten Lieferungen die Peter Keuthmann GmbH in Berlin.<\/p>\n<p>Sehr angetan sind wir sowohl von den Sorten Mar Azul als auch der Cherokee. Beide Tomatensorten sind ganzj\u00e4hrig verf\u00fcgbar und bestechen durch ihr extravagantes \u00c4u\u00dferes. W\u00e4hrend die Mar Azul durch ihre nat\u00fcrlichen Pflanzenfarbstoffe eine violett-bl\u00e4uliche Ausf\u00e4rbung erlangt, zeigt sich die Cherokee in gr\u00fcn und orange.
